🌅 GRACE IN THE GENTLE TURNING
Where One Month Ends, Another Begins
April feels like hope—
not loud,
not rushing ahead,
but steady enough
to stand on.
The world still speaks in noise,
in urgency, in unrest,
but I am learning
not to let it settle within me.
I turn instead
to the quiet place—
where prayer steadies my breathing,
where praise lifts what feels heavy,
where His voice is not loud,
but always clear.
I will not let the noise define me.
I will listen
for the still, quiet whisper
that has never led me wrong.
Because of what was finished,
I am not standing where I was.
Because of what was given,
I am not without a future.
There is a hope
that does not depend on what I see—
a hope that rises
even when the world feels uncertain,
a hope that reminds me
God is not finished yet.
And everywhere I look,
creation is echoing it—
light returning softly,
flowers opening without striving,
the quiet assurance
that life begins again
in its own time.
April does not ask me to rush—
only to trust,
to step forward gently,
to believe again
that what is ahead
is held in grace.
And so I do—
with a steadier heart,
with a quieter mind,
with hope that does not waver
because it was never mine to carry alone.
Look closely—grace is already at work, unfolding into hope. Even here, something gentle is beginning again. If you look closely, you may begin to see it – the small beginnings held in hope and grace.
