A Calling Sparked by Love and Creativity
The seed of Mel Curates was planted in a moment of clarity while I was building an e-commerce brand. I realized—if I can pour creativity into business, why not into something personal and eternal, something that uplifts the soul?
There was family—my husband and I navigating the rhythms of work, moving homes, and living apart from our loved ones, scattered across continents and time zones. The dream sat quietly, waiting.
Life, of course, had its own rhythm: family, work, moving homes, and living apart from loved ones across continents. The dream waited quietly… until one Sunday, a message from our pastor stirred something deeper. He encouraged us to do something—anything—for the Church of God.
That’s when the vision returned with purpose. I realized I had tools in my hands: graphic design skills, a love for words, an eye for beauty—and, above all, a heart that longed to uplift, encourage, and share God’s love.

What began as a spark became a calling—to intertwine faith and creativity, letting each fuel the other.
