A Calling Sparked by Love and Creativity
The seed of MelCurates was planted during an unexpected moment of clarity while building an e-commerce brand. I thought—if I can pour creativity into business, why not into something more personal, something eternal? So, I bought a domain, began designing a site… and then, life happened.
There was family—my husband and I navigating the rhythms of work, moving homes, and living apart from our loved ones, scattered across continents and time zones. The dream sat quietly, waiting.
Then one Sunday, a message from our pastor stirred something deeper. He encouraged us to do something—anything—for the Church of God. That’s when the vision returned with purpose. I realised I had tools in my hands: graphic design skills, a love for words, an eye for beauty—and, above all, a heart that longed to uplift, encourage, and share God’s love.
“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.”

What began as a spark became a calling—to intertwine my faith and creativity, letting each fuel the other.
MelCurates is not about perfection or performance—it’s about presence. It’s about showing up with intention, walking in grace, and letting creativity be a form of devotion.
